Who We Are
The Silo Center Preschool is the realization of a dream New Hope Church had to create a community hub offering resources, training, and support to help people reach their God-given potential. The church began in the spring of 1992 with a core group of 19 adults, and has developed into a thriving, growing church in the South County area. The opening of this awesome preschool in 2008 for children 2 ½ - 5, was just the first step in establishing the community hub. In a secure, fresh environment with plentiful resources, our qualified teachers use developmentally appropriate planning to engage your child in the thrill of discovery.
Misson
Our mission is to provide an environment in which children learn in a loving, playful atmosphere that nurtures social, emotional, physical, cognitive, and language development. We believe children learn best through play while exploring creative outlets that promote problem solving, flexibility and self expression. Our qualified teachers teach to the whole child while supporting individual needs. They want to partner with you to love your child and nourish them spiritually in a Christian atmosphere where everyone is respected and accepted. We understand that childhood is not a race but a journey. We take seriously our commitment to excellence in loving and teaching your child, establishing a goal for a successful, life-long learning experience.

Facility
Our Preschool is part of the church building including five classrooms with child size facilities, a music and movement room, enclosed indoor playground and shaded outdoor playground, climbing wall, and teacher resource room.

Safety & Security
The Silo Center was assessed by the Fairfax County Police Department in Spring of 2024. We are proud to share that we received their top rating for safety and security.
The security of children and staff is a high priority at The Silo Center Preschool.
Our facility is equipped with computerized check-in / check-out systems, and the building has been designed and constructed with top quality surveillance monitoring and security devices. All building doors remain locked. Each individual that enters the building must be let inside and checked in at the front desk.
Maintaining accurate family profiles is necessary for security and to enable immediate contact with parents when necessary. Please be accurate with family information when submitting applications and update your personal profile whenever family data changes.
