Registration for the 2012/13 School Year
Online Registration opens on Tuesday, January 24 @ 6:30am.
Please fill out the form online. Pay the $150 registration fee. This fee is non-refundable if enrollment is confirmed.
Your enrollment status will be confirmed within 10 days of receipt of your online application.
There are currently no "Open Houses" scheduled. Please call the preschool office to schedule a tour.
Tuition is based on a yearly amount that is divided into ten equal monthly payments, regardless of how many days there are in a month. Our monthly tuition for the 2012/13 school year is as follows:
Class Monthly Tuition
3 Day (2.5 - 3.5 year olds) $327
4 Day (3.5 - 5 year olds) $403
5 Day (4.5 - 5 year olds) $480
Please Note: The 2.5 - 3 yr. old class is a 3 day class.
All classes run from 9am-1pm each day.
Extended Care- “The Barnyard Club” Billed Monthly
3 Days/Week T/W/TH from 1pm-3pm each day.
Permanent Reservation $13/day
You will be billed for each day reserved that month regardless of usage.
Drop In Reservation $15/day
Drop in reservations must be made or cancelled by 12pm the day the care has been requested. Cancellations of drop in made after 12pm will be charged.
For children of the same household, monthly rates are reduced by 10% for a second child and 20% for three or more children.There are no multiple child discounts for The Barnyard Club
A non-refundable fee of $150 will be collected for each child at the time of registration. This money covers processing and administration of each student, along with materials for classroom activities, special theme days, snacks, tote bags, and class pictures. There are no other charges throughout the school year. One price; one time!
A non-refundable deposit is due on or before May 1, 2012. This will be applied to your account and used as your final payment of the 2012/ 2013 school year. Your second tuition payment is due September 1, 2012. Each month's tuition is due by the 1st of the month. A late fee of $25.00 will be assessed for each payment received later than the 5th of the month. Failure to remit tuition payments for two consecutive months is grounds for dismissal from the program. Please Note: While not all months of the school year have the same days in attendance, the monthly tuition rate is prorated according to the total number of school days for the year so that all payments are the same amount.
*Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) – This is a free service. You must fill out the authorization form which will allow for monthly withdrawls from your bank.
*Online Payment – You will receive a monthly tuition statement by email. There will be an option to “Click To Pay” within the email where you may provide credit or debit card information for your monthly payment to be processed, also free of charge.
*Personal Check- Checks should be made payable to Silo Center Preschool. Please write your child's name on the bottom left corner.
Should you need to withdraw your child from our program during the school year, please submit written notice at least thirty days prior to your anticipated departure. Once notice is received, your deposit will be applied and used as your final monthly payment.
As required by the Commonwealth of Virginia, the following documents must be presented on or before Orientation in September. A child will not be allowed to attend school without the following documents on file:
• A health form signed by your child’s physician.
• Your child’s original or certified copy, birth certificate. We will make a copy of the certificate and return the original to you. We must verify that the original certificate was presented.
