Donna Amoroso brings over 20 years of experience in the field of child development. She served as director of a church sponsored child development center in Alexandria, VA for over 10 years relating professionally and personally to children, their families, teachers, church staff and the church congregation.

Donna has spent the last five years in Vienna, Austria with her husband Bill. During her time in a new country, she studied German and continued her dedication to children by substitute teaching and tutoring children with special needs.

Donna obtained her Child Development Accreditation (CDA) through the Counsel for Professional Recognition. She continues to advance her training on current child development trends, theories and special topics.

Donna believes that helping families raise their children and having a positive impact on their development is one of the most important jobs anyone can have. She says, “In addition to the basic value of human life making this a worthy venture, the emotional, mental, and spiritual well being of each individual has a direct impact on the world we all live in. This profession certainly demands our best.”

In June 2007, Donna and her husband returned to their home in Springfield, VA. She has two grown sons.

“Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old, he will not depart from it.” Proverbs 22:6
